I created and illustrated the design for the North American Lightning National Championship Regatta, held at Toms River Yacht Club in 2023. The illustration showcases two colorful spinnaker sails, one with the Lightning National Fleet logo and the other with the year, and serves as a reminder of the high energy regatta for spectators and sailors alike.
This sporty design was created to showcase the Lightning class sailboat, and the sport of sailing while still being playful. The boats featured are structurally correct but stylized for an eye-catching design, making you want to get out there and sail fast.
